Every summer I coordinate a shoot with my children and my nephews in order to gift a grandchild image to my mother-in-law for her birthday. This year marks the 5th year we've accomplished this. Every year I try to come up with a theme (i.e. bribe) to add into the session for the kids. This year I wanted an edgier look and I decided we'd head to the tunnels of the Dequindre Cut Greenway in Detroit, so what better incentive for the kids than Detroit's-own Faygo! The cousins are always excited to be together and this was no exception. Getting 7 children 9 years old and under is no joke, but they are all champs and I came away with the prized image of all 7 looking at me, but also many more images that capture them all and their personalities at this point in life.
